Oilon Webshop user instructions
This guide walks you through finding products, placing an order and managing your account details, step by step. It is written so that someone using the webshop for the first time can follow it.
Webshop address: shop.eu.oilon.com
1. Getting started
The webshop serves installation companies, service companies and distributors. Anyone can browse the range, but prices and ordering require you to log in. The exception is the Outlet section, where prices are visible to everyone.
If this is your first visit, work through these steps:
- Open shop.eu.oilon.com. Accept or adjust the cookie settings in the notice at the bottom of the page.
- Check the language in the top right corner. You can switch between Finnish and English.
- Log in. See Logging in and accounts.
- Find your product using the menus, the search box or the search tools.
- Add the product to the cart, check the cart and proceed to checkout.
2. The top of the page
The top of the page stays the same wherever you are on the site. It holds the main functions:
| Element | What it does |
|---|---|
| Logo | Takes you back to the front page from anywhere. |
| Search box | Searches by product name or product code. The product code is the fastest route if you know it. |
| Log in / Register | Shown when you are not logged in. Once you are, it is replaced by Profile and Log out. |
| Language | Suomi or English. The list also offers Oilon’s United States webshop, which is a separate shop with a different range. |
| Cart | Shows how many items are in the cart. Click it to open the cart. |
Tip. The search box finds a product from the product code alone, for example 36961210. That is the most reliable way, because product names contain a lot of letter and number combinations.
3. Logging in and accounts
Open the login page from Log in / Register at the top of the page. There are two different ways to log in. Use the one that applies to you.
A. Oilon dealer or contract customer
Use the blue Login button. It takes you to OilonONE sign-in. If you already have an account for the Oilon Webshop, the same credentials work here.
B. Other business customer
Enter your username or email address and your password.
Registering a new account
The registration form is further down the same page. Fill in:
- First name, last name, country or region, telephone and email address
- User role: Business customer or Oilon dealer
- Company name and Business ID
- Customer number, if you know it
- Consent to storing your details. The marketing consent is optional and can be withdrawn later.
You do not choose a password on the form. A link for setting your password is sent to the email address you give.
Please note. Registration is intended for distributors and business customers. If you already have an account, log in rather than creating a new one. If you would like to become an Oilon distributor, contact spare parts sales at webshop@oilon.com.
4. Profile
Once you are logged in, the top of the page shows Profile. Everything related to your account is behind it, in a menu on the left:
| Menu item | What you find there |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Overview and links to the other sections. |
| Saved carts | Carts you have saved earlier. See Saved carts. |
| Orders | Order history and the details of each order. |
| Addresses | Billing and delivery address. These are used as the defaults at checkout. |
| Account details | Name, email address and other basic details. |
| Password reset / OilonONE account details | Changing your password and managing your OilonONE account. |
| Log out | Ends the session. |
Keep your addresses up to date. The billing and delivery addresses at checkout are filled in automatically from these details. When they are correct, ordering takes only a few clicks.
6. Finding and filtering products
There are three ways to find a product. Choose the one that matches what you already know.
Option 1: the search box
Type the product code, or part of the product name, into the search box at the top of the page. The product code is the most precise.
Option 2: Spare Part Search — when you know the unit
Choose Search tools → Spare Part Search. Enter the serial number of the unit and the search lists the spare parts belonging to that specific unit. The serial number is on the unit’s rating plate.
Option 3: Product search — when you know the part
Choose Search tools → Product search, or use the Product search section of the sidebar on any product page. The filters also work inside product categories.
- Filter by brand. Choose a manufacturer, for example Danfoss, Suntec, Fluidics or Bergonzo. The menu lists only the brands actually present on that page, with the number of products after each one, so you never land on an empty result. Clear the filter by choosing All brands.
- Nozzle search. Oil nozzles have their own menus: flow rate (0.40 G … 6.00 G), nozzle angle (45°, 60°, 80°) and spray pattern (S, H or B). These menus appear only in the nozzle categories, because other products do not carry the same values.
The filters work together. Every choice narrows the list, and the counts in the menus update with it.
Example. You need a Danfoss oil nozzle, flow rate 0.85 G, angle 45°. Go to Search tools → Product search, open the nozzle category and select Danfoss, 0.85 G and 45°. A handful of products remain, and you pick the right one by spray pattern.
7. Special Offers and Outlet
The menu has two separate discount sections:
- Special Offers. Products discounted for a limited period. The product card shows a Sale! label with the old and the new price.
- Outlet. Discontinued items and single pieces. Outlet prices are visible even without logging in.
In both sections, products are ordered in exactly the same way as any other product.
8. The product page
Opening a product takes you to its product page.
The product page shows:
- Product code. The same code you can search with, and the one that appears on your order and in the price list.
- Price. Prices exclude VAT, marked as ( VAT 0% ). If the product is discounted, the old price is shown struck through.
- Discount group. The letter tells you which discount group the product belongs to. The same letter appears in the price list.
- Availability. For example In stock or On backorder.
- Quantity and Add to basket. Change the quantity in the field and press the button.
- Description and Additional information tabs. Additional information holds details such as weight, customs code and country of origin.
- SKU, categories and tags. The categories and tags link straight to the matching product groups.
After adding a product, a confirmation appears at the top of the page with a View cart link. You can also keep adding products and open the cart only at the end.
9. The cart
Open the cart from the cart icon at the top of the page, or from the View cart link shown after adding a product.
Editing the cart
- Remove a row with the red cross at the left of the row.
- Change the quantity with the arrows in the quantity field, or by typing a number.
- After changing quantities, press Update basket so the totals are recalculated.
- If you have a discount coupon, type the code into the coupon field and press Apply coupon.
Cart totals
A summary sits to the right of the cart, or below the list on a phone. It shows:
- Subtotal — the products without delivery costs
- Shipment — the available delivery methods and their prices. The options depend on the delivery country.
- Shipping address with a Change address link, if you want the delivery cost calculated for a different address
- Total weight of the cart
- Small delivery charge — added to small orders
- Total
When the cart is right, press Proceed to checkout.
10. Saved carts
If you place similar orders regularly, you can save a cart and reuse it later.
- Build the cart as usual.
- Type a name for it in the field on the cart page. The name needs at least three characters.
- Press Save cart. A confirmation appears.
- Saved carts are listed under Profile → Saved carts.
Each saved cart has four actions:
- Add to cart — adds the saved products on top of your current cart
- Replace cart — empties the current cart and uses the saved one instead
- Excel — downloads the contents as an Excel sheet showing model code, product, quantity, unit price, discounted price and total
- Delete — removes the saved cart
11. Placing an order
Checkout has four sections. Most of the information is already filled in from your account details.
- Billing details. Name, address, telephone and email address, taken from your account by default, so there is usually nothing to change. This is also where you can add your own order-specific reference or number, which is printed on the invoice.
- E-invoicing address. Optional fields for the OVT ID, operator ID, operator and the email address used for e-invoicing.
- Deliver to a different address? Tick this if the order goes somewhere other than the billing address, and fill in the delivery address. When the box is not ticked, an Order notes field is shown instead, where you can add delivery instructions.
- Your order. A summary of the products, delivery method, VAT and total. Check it before sending.
Coupons at checkout
A blue bar at the top of the page reads Have a coupon? Click here to enter your code. Coupons work here too, if you did not already use one in the cart.
Payment method and sending the order
Below the summary you choose how to pay:
- Payment by invoice
- Paytrail — card payment or payment in online banking
Then tick I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions and press Place order.
After sending, you see the Order received page with the order number, date, email address, total and payment method, followed by a breakdown of the products and addresses.
Check before sending. An order cannot be edited afterwards in the webshop. If you spot a mistake, contact spare parts sales right away.
12. Email notifications
After placing an order you receive notifications at the email address you gave. The first message is Thank you for your order, giving the order number and confirming that the order is being processed.
The message repeats the breakdown from the confirmation page: products, quantities, prices, delivery costs, transport insurance, VAT, payment method, total, and the billing and delivery addresses.
You also get a separate notification whenever the status of the order changes.
If a message does not arrive, check your spam folder and make sure the email address is correct under Profile → Account details. Orders are always visible under Profile → Orders as well.
13. Price lists
Price lists can be downloaded by category. The tool sits in the sidebar under Download price list and is shown on product pages when you are logged in.
- Choose a category from the dropdown, for example Burner Controllers. The option All categories produces the full price list.
- Press Download price list as PDF file or Download price list to Excel.
- Your browser asks whether to open or save the file.
The price list shows the model code, product name, unit price, discounted unit price and discount group. The Excel format is handy if you want to process the prices in your own system.
